They say every picture tells a story... Think of the next batch of photos as a film strip. Each photo has it's story and is also part of the photo preceding and following it. I hope you enjoy the tale I'm about to tell.
The original church here was dedicated to St Michael in 1261. It was given an ‘Indulgence’ by Pope Benedict the 12th in 1335 stating that “the observer of various duties outlined should have forty days indulgence from the penances enjoyned upon them.”
Hopefully ‘Indulgences’ aren’t retracted and I’m given another ‘get out of Hell free’ card and 40 odd days of Grace.

Great shot, did you shoot this in a real church? If so how did you manage it. Sorry but I asked at a couple of local places near me and I got given the "a church is a house of god not a photo studio" speech.
