Delightfully Dead 01

Description

Necrophilia; Greek (Ancient); νεκρός (necros, corpse, dead) + φιλία (philia, affection). As of August, 2006, there is no federal legislation specifically barring sex with a corpse... or the photography of one.

The life of a photographer can be considered to be boring... dead boring in fact. I was dying to get into the cemetery to shoot my latest model, bored stiff in fact. Waiting for no-shows, make up, clothing changes, prima-donnas and discussions with chaperones. I wondered why I was doing this! Especially in cemeteries. Then it hit me... death can be beautiful! Imagine for one moment... the perfect partner! Klaf and Brown in 1958 commented that, although rarely described, necrophilic fantasies may occur more often than is generally supposed; of their sample of 'necrophiliacs,' 68% were motivated by a desire for an unresisting and unrejecting partner; 21% by a want for reunion with a lost partner; 15% by sexual attraction to corpses; 15% by a desire for comfort or to overcome feelings of isolation; and 12% by a desire to remedy low self-esteem by expressing power over a corpse. It could be surmised that only the 15% motivated by an attraction to corpses were true necrophiliacs.

I aim to prove that death can be beautiful... thus was born the Delightfully Dead series! Enjoy!

Model: Kate

Please be respectful of the model... My own technique is of course open to critique but if you've nothing nice to say about the model say nothing. Thanks guys.
