Description

I've wanted to work with Bruise Violet for a while now... Finally got my chance! She's a great alt/fetish model and damn fun to work with. Just make sure the kettle is always on the boil. This girl drinks tea like fish swim. A small price to pay for such a enjoyable shoot.

Note: Please don't try this at home kids, either Bruise Violet is a trained beachball wearer or this is custom made with a breathing tube!

Model: Bruise Violet

Please be respectful of the model... My own technique is of course open to critique but if you've nothing nice to say about the model say nothing. Thanks guys.

"Bruise Violet 26" portrays playfulness and fetish in a mildly enticing way. There are two basic ways the model photographed can use the selected clear bubble hood prop about her head. Whereas a dark (and often better) mode of use through fear or domination would be typical of the item, as breath control / restriction is done with it, she conversely employs a clever light side mode with an aire of silliness, appearing to have found a different toy to enjoy. The plastic bubble hood makes fine pluses for the technique of this image: it is clear and thus makes no color conflict with her attire. As such, it also permits us to see "bruise violet's" face, making our observations more personal and not reducing her to only an anonymous body, as opaque rubber hoods do. Given the odd / exotic head prop with her sleek attire, I would regard this photo as much more fetish than glamour. It is an image soft on shock and captivation because she is NOT gazing right at us through the hood more close-up with any striking emotion, and a dark side mode was not utilized. Instead, our curiosity and attention are piqued by what her fingers are doing (or will do) with the breathing tube. I also wonder what a pair of cuffs attached to her wrists would have done for the atmosphere of this work, and a light-gray rather than bright white background would have made the bubble and its details more noticeable amidst softer contrast. Many fetish devices worn by models send us definite signals one way or the other - dominance or submission. The different and more revealing plastic bubble used here teases for greater visual possibilities in combination with those items, along with this model's additional potential poses / actions in them.
